DESCRIPTION:This year\, the EYTCC have been invited to the Beverley Armed Forces Day\,\nat Leconfield Driver Defence School of Transport. \nEligibility – Members vehicles aged 15+ years\, and guests 20+ years. \nMembers: FREE | Guests: £5.00 | Late Entry: £10.00 \n  \n BOOK LATE ENTRY HERE\n\nNOTE: ACCESS ONLY BETWEEN 08.30 hrs and 11.00 hrs \nD E T A I L S \nOn Saturday 4th July 2026 Beverley Armed Forces Day will return to the Defence School of Logistics\, DST Leconfield. This is a rare opportunity for the public to see inside DST and enjoy a family friendly event. You must arrive before 11am – no exceptions. \nThere will be a wide range of activities and displays for all age groups and we will invite you to join us in recognising the contribution made from across the armed forces and thank them for their services and sacrifices. Members from the Navy\, Army and Air Force as well as cadets and Veterans will be present. There will be military displays and personnel recounting their involvement in campaigns from the World Wars through to more recent deployments in Afghanistan. \nAn extensive range of military equipment will be on display including helicopters. Visitors will be able to actively participate in a number of activities if they wish. Various military charities and veterans’ groups including SSAFA\, The British Legion\, CESA\, Help for Heroes and the NGVA will all be present to explain how they support active and veteran armed forces members and their families in our local communities. Reservists will have a stand to explain how they function; combining military and civilian life\, and we will have displays by many of our supporting local employers. \nWe look forward to welcoming people from across the whole of East Yorkshire to attend. There will be ample parking on site and we are looking to put on transport to and from Beverley town centre. Please put Saturday\, 4th July in your diaries!

Museum is open to public 10.30am-5pm. Vehicles can only be moved with the authority of our marshals (min age 20yr). Vehicle must be insured for use on public highway / private land with public access and driver must be authorised and insured to drive said vehicle. \nALL ENTRANTS & VEHICLES SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: \n(a) the vehicle concerned will be insured for use on the public highway and on private land to which the public has access (this should be standard on most motor policies). \n(b) the vehicle will only be driven on our premises by an authorised and insured driver holding a valid driving licence for the relevant category of vehicle. Continue until the first roundabout (Drax Power Station) before turning left. Continue on this road until it becomes the A1041 (approximately 1 mile). Turn left (Carlton/Snaith) and within 1 mile enter the village of Carlton. The entrance to Carlton Towers can be located as you exit the village\, on the left-hand side. \nFrom West Yorkshire…\nM62\, take Junction 34 (Whitley Bridge/ Selby)\, second left onto the A19. Proceed for approximately a mile and take a right turn (sign posted Snaith/Goole) and continue along this road for approximately 5 miles. SUMMARY:EYTCC Charity ‘Udder Run’
DESCRIPTION:Departing from 10:00 am\, this will be a gentle road run of approx. 30 miles driving through beautiful country lanes towards the coast. A route plan will be supplied at the start of the event. On arrival at the destination\, you can spend the afternoon relaxing. \nThere is a gentle\, safe walk down to the beach. Safe for children and pets (off the lead). As the grassed field in which we are located\, is just yards away from Mr Moo’s cafe – there are meals\, snacks\, and a vast array of ice cream selections available – and good sized areas of indoor and outdoor seating and tables. \nA road run exploring the East Riding\, from Asda Car Park at Bilton – HU11 4AL\, to Mr Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour. Directions handed out at start. Only £5 members\, £8 non members (late entry – £10) – in aid of Dove House Hospice. \nDeparting from Asda at Bilton: 10amPre-Booked Members – £5.00 | Non Members – £8.00 | Late entries – £10.00\nEvent fee is PER VEHICLE \n \n \nStart at 10am from Asda – Bilton\, HU11 4AL \n– or – \nIf you don’t want to do the road-run\, go directly to Mr Moo’s\, Skipsea\, YO25 8SY (field in front\, at the back)\nfrom mid-day onwards – and make payment on arrival for the charity. \nVehicles must be at least 20 years old. \n\nVisiting Public Info \nThe classic vehicles can be seen briefly at the rear of Bilton’s Asda Car Park between 9am-10am. And from around 12pm-3pm at Mr Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour and cafe\, on the adjacent field. Plenty of parking available\, and viewing the vehicles is free! \nPlease supervise children for safety purposes\nand please do no touch any of the vehicles without the owners permission.
